1970 Chevrolet Chevelle

Description

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible “L34” – Certified by Chris White

“I’ve witnessed and owned some of the best authentic Chevelles over the years. I’ve also learned a lot from the experts in the field such as Chris White, Jerry MacNeish and Rick Nelson. I’ve been searching many years for an authentic 1970 Chevelle SS Convertible that checks all the boxes and is certified. These cars just don’t hit the market often. When I discovered this car I jumped on the opportunity. I would challenge anyone to find a comparable example currently on the market for sale.” – Marc Schiliro

This authentic matching numbers 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible “L34” is a great example of a limited production American Muscle Car. During that timeframe the front windshield and door glass was replaced new. The Soft-Ray stamped quarter glass is original and in nice condition. Everything on the exterior has been restored or replaced such as the driver’s mirror, headlight bezels, T-3 headlights, grille, front bumper, parking lights, fender trim, door handles, rear bumper and emblems. During the restoration, the previous caretaker removed the heads and cleaned the top of the pistons. The engine was refreshed with new paint, external parts, seals and gaskets. The previous caretaker added a new Centerforce clutch with a replacement pressure plate and throwout bearing. The power is transferred to the original matching Posi-traction rear end with 3.31 gears.
